You’re covered immediately. There’s no waiting period for preexisting conditions. Benefits will be paid from the time your policy is in force.
Your policy cannot be canceled. The supplemental policy through Omaha Insurance Company will be renewed as long as the premiums are paid on time and the information is correct on the application.
Your Medicare supplemental insurance benefits will automatically increase. As Medicare deductibles and coinsurance increases, so will your coverage.
Benefits are paid to you, your hospital, or doctor. If a provider doesn’t accept assignment, the benefits from Omaha Insurance Company will be paid to you.
Rate increases aren’t personal. You can’t be singled out for a rate increase, no matter how many times you receive benefits. Your premium changes each year on the renewal date with or following the anniversary of the policy date until you reach age 99; and when the same premium change is made on all in-force Medicare supplemental insurance policies of the same form of classification and geographic region of the state.
Household Premium Discounts. Omaha Insurance Company provides a household discount up to 12%. If you and another member living in the same house (for 1 year) have a Mutual of Omaha, United of Omaha, or Omaha Insurance Company policy, you’re eligible for the discount.
